Dear Citizens of Ukraine,
Dear Colleagues,

The recent news about the current situation in Ukraine has left the whole world and the Association of Latvian Surgeons speechless. The military aggression directed towards your country’s sovereignty, freedom, and territorial indivisibility cannot be justified and will not be accepted. We stand together with our allies, ready to support the Ukrainian people with all possible means and measures. The war must stop, and we pray that it happens sooner than later. And when it happens, Ukraine will be reborn as a free and independent country just as the Baltic States and will become a prosperous and strong state in Europe.
